Our final match of the 2024 President's Cup comes to an end as Warren Kramer from the A Bracket congratulates Champion Kim Fernandez from B Bracket on a hard fought victory.
The Final Matches were played in difficult conditions, rain and wind. The first 6 or so holes were played in sporadic showers that were sometimes pretty heavy. Warren and Kim soldiered on with Kim holding a pretty steady 2 hole lead up until #14 when he with just one bad shot he lost the hole. He wasn't through as his tee-shot on 15 found the lush foliage of the out of bounds. So Warren was now even with 3 to go. Kim got back the lead when both Warren and he pared 16, but Kim had a stroke. He held on to that one hole lead through 18 and victory.
There was no Consolation Match, as Lee Spencer of Bracket D had to withdraw with an injury leaving Steve Aleshire of Bracket C in 3rd place.
